I never follow the hand wash only directions on things and I just throw them in the top rack of the dishwasher. Sometimes they get a little warped. Sometimes it's fine. It's a gamble I'm willing to gamble to not have to remember to hand wash. This cup though? This cup literally shrunk completely. It was twice as big originally as it ended up. Insane.It was a great cup at first though! My daughter loved that it came with stickers. I loved that it was leak proof. Literally nothing wrong with it as long as you actually follow the washing instructions. 🤣

Got this for my daughter for her birthday and she loves it. It is a good size and easy to carry.

I ordered this bottle in the end of January, 3 months later this is what it looks like. For the record, I ONLY wash it by hands with a liquid dish soap: no scrubbing with a sponge, no dishwasher, just my hands. I put in the special bottle compartment of my backpack. Still couldn’t save the paint. I guess that’s why the stickers are included… so you can decorate the bottle once the paint is fully gone. Even with all that, the bottle is leaking. The cap holds water inside and when you twist it to open the water comes out. The bottle looked wonderful when it just arrived, but turned out to be flimsy. I wish I could leave a good review since the design was cute, but I think you should know about these flaws.

The description says top shelf dishwasher friendly. Well that's not true as the cup shrunk to half of its size and is no longer usable. I will be returning this item and ordering a new one. Please wash by hand to avoid this problem.
