Solidly built, I love the fact that it's encased in wood and not plastic. The sound quality is great, and the fact that it comes with a 3-year extended warranty. It could use a bit more bass, but for the price, it's hard to beat! Therefore, I'd give this 4 and a half stars.

WOW, UNEXPECTED SURPRISE! Everything worked...played CD beginning to end no problems, we preset, programmed 17 FM stations but, you can set 30 stations. Clarity, crisp sound that "packs a punch"! Comes with antenna if you need (we needed to swerve it on only 1 station to get rid of static and it was clear as a bell...easy adjustment). You can register for a 3 year warranty online! It also has Aux, USB, Bluetooth, many extra features we didn't use. Outside case looks beautiful and easily sits on a end table, counter or shelf. You can' t go wrong for this price! Very happy.h

The Oakcastle HIFI 500 Bluetooth 5.2 Stereo System for Home will play all your CDs and CD copies in mp3 excellently without flaws. Its 60 W is more than enough to make the CD player in it create a decent environment of 16 bit by 44 MHz of music with adequate, soothing treble and noticeable bass. You will not get anything that efficient than this stereo system, for it will play FM radio with 30 pre-set stations of your like, inbuilt quality speakers, lightweighted remote control and input for auxiliary equipment of your choice. Oakcastle still offers full bass management and Bluetooth connectivity with your phone: it means that you can also play streamming content from your phone to its powerful speakers! At this price and looks you will find very hard to pick another stereo this classy and gorgeous!

Big problem is the remote was missing. I have tried to contact the company, but the link on Amazon does not work. Amazon's choices for this problem do not exist. I hope Oakcastle management reads this review and sends one to me. I am not inclined to go through the hassle of returning this product as otherwise the sound is good. Just be aware you buy this at your own risk.
