We used these while snorkeling in Hawaii. These allow you to always see where everyone in your party is and was fabulous for times when you needed to float for a break. They would be fabulous for keeping track of kids while swimming in a lake or ocean

It’s a good idea to put your phone in a waterproof bag and your other items too before putting them in the bouy because from time to time water still seeps in. I honestly don’t understand why they can’t have a better closing system.

These have two pouches, one you inflate and the other is used as a small dry bag. My SO and I used these on an open water swim and they work really well. They're barely noticeable when swimming and create little to no drag. They are able to support at least 200lbs if needed. It was a good safety relief, psychologically, to know we had them.
