We had just bought a house with a pool in a city that has desert weather. No one had been living at the house for a while and no pool maintenance was maintained so when we moved in the pool was extremely green and full of algae. I had to fill the pool full of chemicals which costs a lot of money. Once I was able to get the pool to a normal balance I did some research of how I can maintain a good balanced pool. I found a lot of people talking about using copper so that you wouldn't have to use as many chemical.Since getting the copper anode it has made my pool balanced and I have not needed as many chemicals as before. I have only needed to replace the copper anode once and it works really well. You do have to clean the anode every once in a while to keep the pool clean. I like how long it lasts and how easy it is to use. Whenever I have others over they always ask me what it is and its great to explain to them how it works and turn them onto something that will help them save money.

Great works well, would have liked to be able to get just the copper anode for the size but that's all in what brand purchased. Overall, saved heaps in Chlorine tabs, by needing only half the quantity. Cost evens out .

As soon as I replaced my existing copper with o e of these I began to have a cloudy then green pool. I had used my previous set for 3 seasons with zero issues.
