¿Cómo descalcificar/limpiar el hervidor?

¿Por qué la función Mantener el calor no funciona en mi tetera?
Si simplemente presionas el botón Mantener caliente sin presionar el botón de inicio, el hervidor no realizará la función de mantener caliente. Tienes que presionar el botón de inicio mientras presionas el botón Mantener caliente, el hervidor encenderá la función de mantener caliente. Por razones de seguridad, la función Mantener el calor se desactivará cuando la temperatura sea superior a 200 °F, no pasará nada si presionas el botón mantener caliente cuando el agua sea superior a 200000 °F.
El sabor más puro
La tetera FOHERE está hecha de acero inoxidable 304, vidrio de borosilicato y plástico sin BPA. Para proteger contra incrustaciones y corrosión, lavar regularmente y vaciar después de cada uso.

R: Está hecho de vidrio de borosilicato, no de plástico, puedes quemar el cuerpo del hervidor con fuego para probar si es plástico, y utilizando un cuchillo para cortar en la superficie, no se dejarán arañazos. Los niños no deben probar por dudas de seguridad
P: ¿Se oxida? ¿Cómo limpiarlo?
R: La pieza de metal está hecha de acero inoxidable 304, no se oxida. Algunos usuarios encuentran algo como el óxido en la parte inferior, es una sustancia mineral en el agua unida a la parte inferior, añaden un poco de vinagre o ácido orgánico y hervir, y puedes limpiarlos. Para reducir la posibilidad de descamación, trata de no verter toda el agua cuando acaba de hervir.
P: Recibí un hervidor, pero faltan algunas piezas, ¿por qué?
R: Todas las piezas se colocan en diferentes ranuras para evitar daños en la entrega, comprueba las ranuras en la parte posterior de las espumas.

I bought this kettle because I desperately wanted one that wasn't made out of plastic, and they deliver. It's been making tea for me for like, a year or something.Also it being borosilicate glass is very important to me, because of the risk of thermal shock.If I was forced to give feedback, I wish that the kettle would hold the water at boiling point for a bit, it seems to stop heating once the water reaches boiling if you set it that high. Also the buttons feel kind of cheap and flimsy, but I'm over it, it heats water.

Muy buena calidad de materiales. Tiene funciones para todo tipo de té y café. Hierve el agua muy rápido. Además, que el infusor se pueda subir y bajar o poner y sacar sin quitar la tapa es un plus. Muy recomendable.

Unit was delivered with in 2 days of ordering, nice! As per instructions unit was cleaned by washing parts and boiling water in the unit. I found the temperatures to be accurate within 2-3 degrees +. The keep warm feature works as described and does allow you to keep temp warm at a lower temp if desired. Example: Set to boiling at 200 degrees for coffee, then want to let water cool to 185 for tea. hit the keep warm button and set the temp to 185 with knob and once the water temp is reduced to 185, the keep warm feature kicks in. NOTE: the unit has an bonus feature that is not mentioned in the description; what ever temp you set, once it is reached, the unit will keep it at that temp for 10 mins. Images shows the 10 minute temperature hold. Never had on do that before! I like it. Another feature which should be added to the description instead of having some one as a question is the warranty, this is a HUGE purchasing factor for a lot of folk. The kettle comes with a 2-year warranty and a 6-month extension. For the extension, just send and email to 'service@fohere.com' along with your Order Number from Amazon. I received an approval for the extension within minutes. Will come back to update if needed.**UPDATE 5/31/2023**So far so good! Its been over a year and still working great, that's a plus considering these kettles usually fizzle out in this time frame. My new favorite feature is the 2 hour keep warm which seems to reset itself if you add more water and reduce the temperature to less than 5-10 degrees from what it was set for. I don't know whether this is a glitch in the programming but I LIKE IT! Boiling speed and temps remain the same. I highly recommend this kettle!

I have had multiple electric tea kettles over the years. When I ordered FOHERE Electric Tea Kettle with 9 Presets, I expected it would be in line with the others I have had or even better. Overall, It is a nice teapot; however, there are a few things that, if there weren't there, could have made it even better. When it sits on its base, it is wobbly and does not feel like having a solid lock/connection. This gives you the impression that the product is cheaply made. The temperature setting is easy, but turning it off is confusing. I usually take it off its base and place it on the counter. Also, it takes longer to reach the boiling temperature compared to my other kettles. When it is set for boiling water, it starts boiling early at 175 F and continues until it reaches its full boil at 212 F. However, if you have it for other settings, it won't. If I had bought this from Costco or a department store, I would have returned it. For now, I will use it until I find a solid and not cheaply-made electric tea kettle.

Very good, all-around functional kettle for a family. Sensible layout and functions.Powerful enough heater, brings water to boil quickly. The water boils at 197 deg F where I live but the heater is powerful enough to push water temp to at least 205F. Have not tried 212F yet, don't need it in the mountains. I'm sure the kettle will easily get to 212degF at sea level and moderate elevations.Nice to see the water bubbling.The "keep hot" for 2 hours function is great: keeps plenty of hot water on standby for more tea and coffee and while cooking and rinsing. Nice to have control over water temp from warm to hot.The spout does not spill or drip. It is open. Thinking the water would boil a bit quicker and hotter if the spout was sealed.Water stays in contact with glass and stainless only, the sealing silicone ring is under the glass carafe. The carafe itself is very light.Good spring connection of the carafe to the base.Easy to clean even mountain mineral-rich water deposits. Partly because of smooth materials and partly because of the wide top opening.The strainer is fine for preparing 4 cups or two 16oz mugs of tea/coffee at a time, or more. 500ml/ two cups of water do not cover enough of the strainer to soak tea leaves and esp. coffee (like in the photo). So to prepare only one mug of tea I use the kettle to boil water then brew in a press.The strainer handle is a useful feature.The temperature display lags the actual water temp. by a min or two. The kettle heats the water to the temperature I set ahead of the display value. Takes 2 wheel clicks to change a temp setting.Almost perfect. I'll be happy should it last as long as my retired ceramic Bella- 12 years or so.
