TL;DR:These Thermal Grizzly Minus Pad Basics, along with Noctua NT-H2 paste and a good cleaning, did lower my GPU core temps a lot. VRAM & VRMs temps only dropped a tiny bit (1-2°C). While the combination stopped the thermal throttling, the "Basic" pads feel a little underwhelming. A razor knife makes clean cuts easier. I might try the "Extreme" version next time for better VRAM & VRMs cooling.Full Review:I've been fighting thermal throttling on my near 2-year old RTX A4000 GPUs for a while. They were constantly thermal throttling whenever I put them under any kind of load. The first thing I did was take everything apart and really clean the heatsinks and fans. While I was at it, I replaced the GPU thermal paste with my go-to Noctua NT-H2 and also swapped out the old, dried-out VRAM/VRM thermal pads with these Thermal Grizzly Minus Pad Basics. I needed these 0.5mm as well as 1.0mm, and 1.5mm thicknesses to make good contact with all the chips.So far, I've completed four GPUs. The good news is that I saw a pretty good drop in the GPU core temperatures (hot spot down more than 15°C), which was definitely noticeable. The less impressive news is that the VRAM/VRM temperatures only seemed to drop by maybe 1°C or 2°C. It's hard to say whether that tiny change came from the thermal pads or from just cleaning all the dust out of the heatsink fins. The old pads were definitely dried out, so I thought I'd see bigger gains. On the GPU core, though, I saw a 10°C-15°C decrease from the Noctua paste, which was easier to tell.Even with the new pads and paste, I still get some throttling, but only when I'm running really heavy workloads for extended periods. And the GPU fans now settle at around 2500 RPM under load instead of screaming at almost 5000 RPM. So, did they fix the thermal throttling issue? I'm sure they helped, but I was hoping for more.One thing I learned is that you really need to use sharp scissors or blade to cut these, or they might tear a little. These pads are easy to cut with an X-Acto razor, but a regular pair of scissors might have trouble making clean, straight cuts.I still have more GPUs to do, and I'm thinking about trying out the Thermal Grizzly Minus Pad "Extreme" version on the first few to see if it's worth the extra money, especially for VRAM/VRM cooling. Opted for this larger 100x100mm sheet of Minus Pad Advance because I had a few different components I wanted to upgrade the thermal pads on, including my GPU memory chips and a laptop's cooling system. This size gives you plenty of material to work with, much more economical than buying several smaller pre-cut packs if you have multiple jobs or need custom shapes. The 0.5mm thickness was perfect for replacing the stock pads on my GPU.Cutting it to size was simple, and the pad handled well without tearing easily. The compressibility helped ensure good contact even on surfaces that might not be perfectly flat. I saw a definite improvement in temperatures, particularly on the GPU memory junctions which were running quite hot before. Knowing it's Thermal Grizzly gives confidence in the performance, and the non-conductive nature is always a plus when working inside expensive hardware. Good stuff if you need quality thermal padding for various projects.

They work great! Used so far on my performance M.2 drives. This helped transfer quickly and efficiently. recommended.

I bought, cut and used these for ssds. Then I did something others didn't recommend in these reviews. I used it on a Ryzen 5600X CPU. And you know what happened? It worked just fine. No overheating. The CPU temps are fine. I think I'm done with thermal paste because I don't see the benefit to the mess of spreading paste.These thermal pads make it very easy to seat and reseat heatsinks when you're switching CPU coolers.
