These are great! The clips do slip off of pants made with thin material.

Easy to use and adjust. Fit is comfortable and product looks nice. Good value for the money. Would recommend.

With clips only on the front and not on the back, my underpants drooped halfway down my butt in the back, so these suspenders were not for me. However, I did appreciate the fact that when I was wearing them, they didn't seem noticeable from the front, unlike my other suspenders. I felt like I was wearing some kind of shoulder holster from a cop or detective show, but one that didn't seem to affect my silhouette, and I was only wearing a shirt over them, not a shirt plus a sweater or jacket. If you don't need the clips in the back like I do and want to hide the fact that you're wearing suspenders, these could be just right for you.

I am 6'2 and ~255 lbs. I store almost all of my extra weight right in the belly region, I've got some pelvic tilt, and no rear end to speak of. With this build, suspenders to keep the pants up make a lot of sense. However, I've got some issues with normal suspenders: How they go over the front of me isn't very flattering or comfortable, and many of the pairs I have tried have weak little clips that pop off, which for some reason is one of the most infuriating things to me, and really doesn't help contribute to my limited cool guy vibes.These side clip suspenders are really cool, for a few reasons.- Only 2 points of contact, so you don't have to clip anything on before you put on your pants.- REALLY beefy clips that have not let go on me yet, keeping everything comfortably secure.- They remind me of a shoulder holster right out of Miami Vice. OK, most people probably don't get that vibe, but internally I am channeling Crockett and I dig it.You actually have quite a bit of flexibility in how to position these. I don't seem to constantly notice them as I have with more standard suspenders. And to top it off, in my opinion they are plain enough for work wear but nice enough for wearing to church on Sunday. And best of all, they're heckin' affordable. Pretty sure I paid less for these than the last pair I bought and really didn't like at all. I will probably buy another color at some point since there are so many options.I really enjoy these, and wish I'd have known about them years ago. Better late than never though!
