Instalación
Esta cubierta de tapa de gas está diseñada para reemplazar la puerta y la carcasa de fábrica. Se instala simplemente con un destornillador de cabeza larga.
Construcción
La cubierta de tapa de gas Star está fabricada con aleación de aluminio para la cubierta y plástico acrilonitrilo butadieno estireno (ABS) para la base. Ambos son resistentes y ligeros, lo que significa que obtienes una adición duradera a tu Wrangler.
Dificultad de instalación: nivel 1/principiante
Tiempo de instalación: alrededor de 10 minutos.

Quality product, I installed over metal cloak aluminum armor, I had to file down the left edge for the door hinge and the clips don’t engage all the way but otherwise it fits with thick armor. See pics.

I'll make this work using some other parts I have, but this is a really cheap/low quality piece. I wouldn't recommend this product.

Me gustó como cambia la imagen de la unidad, no me gustó que solo se sujeta de los 4 tornillos que van al tubo de entrada de la gasolina

Easy to install, gave the Jeep an updated look, it is made of plastic and a pot metal which seems to work fine for what it is, no issues with it at all

I was skeptical of this gas cap due to other reviews, but after using, it is not a bad buy for the money. Mounted perfect and holes lined up with the spout for adding fuel with no issues. It is a cheaper metal, but not plastic like others. It has a spring tension to keep fuel door closed, but not extremely strong. The hinge is where people have had issues, and it is definitely not heavy duty, (has some plastic components) but if you are careful opening and closing and do not man handle or slam shut, it works fine. For looks and to have a doored fuel cap, it is great. If you want something heavy duty and extremely durable this is not the product for you. Reason I gave 4 stars was despite the fact it is not bomb proof like more expensive others, it was still a metal part besides the hinges, and for $20 actually exceeded what I was expecting. As i stated, if you are careful opening/closing this works great. If you slam shut or open it hard past the hinge point, it will break.

Installed in 5 minutes.Looks great.Fits very securely with corner armor.Spring to keep the door closed is a little week but it functions fine.
