I have a Wacom tablet that needs a 100w power supply and does not accept chargers with less wattage.I liked this charger, but I returned it because it comes with round (EU/India) pins instead of flat foldable (US) pins like the one shown in the product description, making it less compact than that shown in the description.

This charger will easily fill up a smartphone or a large battery super fast, while charging a laptop at the same time, and it's small enough to fit in your hand. I've had it for over a year, and it's been perfect.I'm going to say that again, because it's crazy how good charging tech has gotten in the last few years. This charges a laptop and a phone at the same time, while fitting in your palm. That's crazy. Awesome, and crazy. The Ugreen nexode 100w charger manages impressive charging in a tiny package by using some cutting edge metal chemistry (Gallium Nitride/GaN), likely some smart silicone logic, and just being super dense. This thing is a giant brick. Seriously, it's super heavy. Still much lighter than a comparable laptop charger from a few years ago, and less than half the size of a weaker 65w MacBook brick. It's probably lighter than other charging bricks, but it feels heavier because it's more dense. That's a tradeoff I'm willing to make. When it's in my bag, I just want something lightweight. Being dense is kinda a cool party trick when you ask someone else to plug it in.I picked up this charger as one of the two centerpieces of my digital every day carry (EDC) bag. I needed power for my devices, and this is one half of the solution. All my devices can be charged with this, very quickly. So I don't need to deal with multiple different chargers, and I don't need to bring a giant power strip and hog a ton of outlets. Having a single charger to cover everything is pretty awesome, and allows my EDC bag to be super small. The US compatible power plug folds inward to make it more compact for travel. There's no ground plug, and the plugs aren't polarized, so you can plug it in either direction. I'd initially worried about the two metal bars being unable to firmly hold the charger in outlets because of the weight, but I've never had any problems with it falling out, even at some coffee shops where the outlets get abused on a daily basis. The plug opens and closes with decent force and makes a satisfying snapping sound. So the wall plug gets a gold star from me.The most annoying part is how the plugs all have slightly different capacities. The functionality is good, but it's a bit confusing. Plug your laptop into the wrong plug and it might not have enough power to charge at all. The 100w is split across the plugs in a confusing way. But that's a flaw with nearly every single GaN charger, and I think Ugreen has the most sensible combination of options. I've never needed to think about which port to plug in besides selecting the highlighted port for high powered devices. Annoying, but not a deal breaker. So I'll give them a passing grade for designing a good product within the constraints they had. They built a 100w charger that could become a 65w+25w charger. Building a 100w+25w charger would have made this at least 25% more bulky, so it's a decent tradeoff to split the output between multiple plugs. If you want multiple high capacity chargers, buy multiple chargers. This charger is for people looking to maximize their utility in a small package.I can't remember all the combinations of the power output, so consult the manual for the combinations in the current version. Seriously, if you have a specific set of devices you want to power, check the manual to make sure it's possible. I've accidentally plugged my laptop into the middle port, and it doesn't output enough power to charge. The only combination I remember 100% is that if you use both USB-C ports, the highlighted one will give 65w, and the other one gets 25w. There's no option to split charging 50/50. I think of you use all the ports it's split 65w and 12.5w on each of the other two. The first combination is perfect for charging a laptop and a smart phone, or some combination of a backup battery and another device. But I don't think the regular USB port goes above 12.5w, even with nothing else plugged in. But don't trust me on that. Read the manual and check for yourself. I leave my reviews up forever, so a newer version might have a different mix of capabilities. Read the manual, please. At the time I bought this in 2023, I vaguely remember that Ugreen was one of the only companies that actually offered a 100w port on their 100w charger. Almost all the other chargers thought that a max charge of 65w was good enough to count as 100w if they also could charge with a 25w port. They weren't 100w. They were "65w+25w". We really need better marketing terms for these new chargers. But I haven't been able to test that functionality because I don't have a 100w device that charges over USB-C. Needless future proofing on my part, but I wanted to never think about charging again. There's this bug with some other chargers where plugging a new device in will force the charger to recalculate the wattage to each device, which results in your devices thinking they've been unplugged and replugged. I just checked, and it looks like Ugreen doesn't suffer from that problem. Regardless of which plug I'm using, my phone doesn't stop charging when another device is plugged in. Either this problem is device/firmware specific, or Ugreen is simply better than their competition. Once again, buying a better product means you get a better experience.I'm kind of rambling at this point. There's just not much to say, other than this was the first time I ever built a tech bag around a charger. Usually things go the other way around. You pick a bag that can carry your bulky chargers. It's just nice to have a charger this good and this compact. This is a strong recommendation from me. It fixes problems with other 100w chargers, while being in a perfectly sized package. An essential part of my travel plans.Ugreen USB-C cbles pictured, but not included when you buy the charger. But I'd also recommend those as well.
