As described, it's a nice stirring rod.The blades open smoothly, and the durable PTFE coating makes it very chemical resistant and easy to clean.I think it's a PTFE coated stainless steel rod, with PTFE blades, but I'm not certain, and the listing doesn't say (at least not at the time of this review).Works well.
