I bought this for my Hp laptop. It was making loud rumbling noises from the fan bearing. opened the laptop and it was very simple to replace. No more noise. Super simple DIY replacement.

The service providers like to tell you that you can't open your laptop up and swap out the cooling fan. I did exactly that and can't estimate how much money I saved by doing it myself. I also bought a Bluetooth adapter since my laptop also lost it's mind once and the reinstall did not include Bluetooth for some reason. So with this fan and the adapter, I'm only out $29, and my computer is running better than ever. BTW, it's only 3 years old. What I did was defeat the automatic electronic failure we expect from today's devices. The fan is 100% compatible with my HP laptop and worked the first time.

This fan should have been OEM. My fan started “growling” ,as one of my clients described hers, and I knew immediately that I needed to replace it. Prime is pointless at this juncture.Fan 1 ordered on a Sunday and shipped on Monday to be delivered on Friday but ended delayed until the next Monday. This put me in sort of a bind due to having some work to do. Fan arrived DOA. I was mad already due to the delays but reordered from the same seller anyway but I also ordered in tandem one from EBay as a backup in case of delays. This one came one say sooner and I was impressed with the operation off the back. My OEM fan was loud and this one is pretty quiet. I also notice better performance out of the system.
