I'm a part time stage hand and rigger for a production company and we use the high end versions of something like this. I also own a small rig of my own. I purchased these for my shows. For the money you can't beat them, they work great. One big downfall The cover doesn't stay open. It wants to flip shut on its own, as you can imagine, laying a hundred feet of cable into the tray when you have to lift each cover up is gonna kinda suck. Also the rod that runs through it as the hinge pin. Slides out by itself some times when you carry it straight up and down. Other than those minor problems they're great. I highly recommend them. BTW I kind of like the smell everyone's complaining about.

It does the job to protect my hose.The only draw back is that when it rains, it does block the water - would would be nice if there are some drainage holes to allow the rain to pass through.I have mine at a diagonal so the water does flow but it still how some back on heavy rain.

Our driveway runs right through our outdoor Christmas display. We used to have to run what seemed like miles of power cable to get to the other side. With the VEVOR Rubber Cable Protector Ramp, we just run straight across the driveway. These are heavy weight, and heavy-duty. If you spike them down properly, they will take abuse from heavy vehicles with no problem.
