Great solution for installing inclined hanging fans or fixtures. There are not many options in the market, but this one did the work correctly with good quality.

Saved my life! They worked great to attached the fan I bought to sloped ceiling. My fan downrod was matte black....though this is brown, you really don't see a difference.

I had to re-install a 30 year old ceiling fan, but the rubber shock mounts on the original installation mounting hanger were dried out and crumbling. This worked perfectly, the installation was easy and straightforward. My only concern would be the ability of the mount to hold up longterm. The main hanger is a die-cast hanger that is not very heavy duty. I assume (hopefully) that the design engineers did their homework. I have no reason to believe they didn't, just concerned. This was the only solution I could find that met my needs.

The key to the problem is that the housing has a cut-out that allows the fan to hang vertically whereas a standard housing has a simple hole and therefore limited capabilities when being hung on an angle. There is also a flat steel adapter which the remainder of the housing connects to that is key as regardless of how the electrical box was installed, it will allow you to connect the fan "ball" cradle horizontal to the room. It was quick to install and yes has plenty of room for a remote control unit.

Purchased 2 units for installing Westinghouse alta-vista fans on a 22 degree sloped ceiling. Easy to install and the instructions were actually useful. Also purchased 2 x 24" inch downrods. The canopy was designed to hold the remote control module which required some juggling to fit in the cavity.Very happy with the product and highly recommended for sloped ceilings. Just ensure that the canopy can accommodate (non-Westinghouse) controller module.
