This item is a few millimeters to big. Even tried changing the gasket to the old one and still would not sit into the thermostat housing. And since i already had it all taken apart i had no choice but to just go and buy at the local auto parts store so i can get back to driving. Your thermostat has the gasket next to it in the pics. Completely wrong.....

The previous thermostat on my 300K+ Civic was slowly getting all gunked up, difficult as it was to get the bolts on the cover off, a new thermostat has improved sensor controls on gas mileage and passenger comfort.

From the appearance, the product seemed have high quality. After replacing it on my 2009 Honda Civic, the check engine light is gone .Pros: good quality, good price (a quarter of the local sells)Cons: Took two weeks to get (shipped from oversea)
