This was a buy for a co worker as a going away present, he was into music, own instruments he played , I thought maybe he like this one so when gets bored probably come up with inspiration to write songs since he a musician too , he thought it was a beautiful gift and learn to love it .

It works.. the sound is nice and loud, but it seems to need tuning. Almost as if it is missing some musical notes. I was able to play some songs on it, but the song book that it comes with is useless. I usedit as an activity at a senior's facility. They enjoyed the calming sound of it. I like the way that it was packaged. It does come with a tuner, and a cloth for keeping it clean as well. Maybe I overlooked it,but I didnt see any instuctions on how to tune it. I feel like it should be in tune when I open the package.

Larger than expected. Nice acrylic base. Thick and clear. Easy for 13 year old to play. Nice tones.
