Got my zip notes dispensers today. These are great products but buyer beware…These are used, reconditioned units. Two of the three purchased had green battery corrosion on one of the spring battery terminals. One came with the batteries outside the boxed dispenser. All came with a business card that contained a QR code to access the manual. The QR code worked but the website (zipnotes.com) is no longer a valid website. I am keeping the items because I love how they work. I am disappointed that they are represented as new items therefore I am only giving the items a three star review.

I was really excited about this Post-it note dispenser after reading that it was a favorite of another teacher. When mine arrived, the batteries inside were completely corroded, and it did not work properly. Additionally, the role of posted notes inside had barely any adhesive on the back. I sent it back and did not order a replacement.

If you’ve never had one of these, just give it a shot. Amazon has them for about half the cost anywhere else and it comes with a 600 foot. Roll of Post-it note paper. For me, that’s pretty close to a lifetime supply. It’s a great conversation piece and actually useful. This would make a great gift for somebody. I gifted it to myself.

I read the reviews and wanted this to be a winner despite what the reviews said, so I bought it. It came in today and just like others say the battery compartment was a mess. The batteries had leaked all over the compartment. I took the time to clean out the mess and put in fresh batteries. I pushed the button and nothing happened. I took the top off and adjust the switch. Then out the cover back on and reinstalled the batteries. The thing went crazy spitting out 6 feet of post it notes. It wouldn’t stop until I pulled the battery. I filled out the return to send it back and debated on trying one more time, but decided this is a good idea, just a bad product. I’m done.

The primary reason for purchasing this item was due to my being in possession of several rolls of zip note paper and no dispenser. All the manual feed models were discontinued so I went with the battery operated one. Works well, takes up very little desk space and allows me to dispense only the amount of note paper I need. Well worth the minor investment.
