Functional and has a bunch of units of measurement on it. Good conversions

Love this can. Makes mixing fuel super easy. Only gripe is it doesn’t have markings for a 32:1 ratio. Not a big deal for me as I run 40:1 in my dirt bikes but had to mix fuel for a friend and it made it difficult.

I bought this for my daughter. She just moved into a house and I'm giving her a few 2 cycle lawn and yard products. She's bright, but like most people she lacks the understanding of the inner-workings of 2 stroke cycle engines and the criticality of proper fuel/oil mixtures. With every machine having it's own specific ratio, this can be confusing. The bottle is clearly marked for ratios from 100:1 to 24:1 and for Gallons (or Liters) from 1 to 10 gallons. I marked gas caps (three in all) of the machines I gave her with the proper ratios, and provided her with 3 one gallon gas cans each marked with a respective ratio and a 5 qt container of Pennzoil 2 cycle oil. We both went to the gas station and I showed her how to use the bottle to mix the proper ratio for each can.Why didn't I just give her battery electric equipment?-Batteries are expensive,-They only last a few years,-When they go bad they end up in land fills (many times with the equipment they powered because to replace them cost nearly as much as buying completely new equipment).-No thought is required to use battery powered equipment.-Teaching her how to use a choke, start an engine, shutdown, winterize, diagnose issues and just plain using her head is of great value to me.-When the diaphragms in the carb's harden and/or the gas powered equipment needs repair, I can use that as a learning opportunity for her and a teaching opportunity for me.The cap on the bottle allows you to keep it clean and free of dirt/debris, unlike a measuring cup.One short coming of the bottle is that it does not include a column for 32:1, which is a common ratio. I used a sharpie to make a column on her bottle for this ratio.
