Beautiful detail on this locomotive, going around the track... not so muchpower thru coal-car, not enough weight so loco does not run smoothly and is jerkyI tape 2 AA batteries to top of tender this helped connection stability

Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that I haven't had it long enough to determine its durability.

Lovely little locomotive. Runs smoothly. Wasn’t sure what this little engine had to offer with its interior when I bought it. After closer examination, I was both impressed and ecstatic. Having bearings, a flywheel, tender pickups and other features; you can’t go wrong. The only complaint I can add to say is both an unwanted and fair enough feature is the traction tires, as well as the loose funnel. Over all, a worthy purchase.

Having a 4-4-0 is great addition to any railroad, and any era (think a locomotive preserved as part of your model Railroad's CCH-concocted corporate history!) It runs exceptionally well on 18 inch curves, and is easy to convert to a different road name with a little paint and some decals. The price was right, too!
