These are normally really nice, detailed, run well, have good sound.This model is of course an older style so it has a lot of framework and beams and ladders. The one I got had a front "grill" that was put on slightly off and it would be rubbing the rail and catch on the rails between tracks. Replacement time. But otherwise the other steams I had were super nice and this would be a nice one if it just was built correctly or tested.Then again, amazon shipped this to me in a thin and bearly padded envelop so it probably took a massive beating in delivery. A $250 delicate model doesn't deserve a box?!

Amazing steam locomotive! Runs very well and the sounds are fantastic. Very satisfied with Bachmann quality and Amazon service.
