This cat house is thick. It is fuzzy. It feels waterproof on the outside however it does feel very floppy and I’m not sure how well it will hold up, especially with the wind and the weather blowing. It does have two hooks. You can secure it down almost like a tent, but it still a little floppy for my liking it is black with some print and it would definitely hold the wind out. It does have a door flap on it to keep the weather out

We got this for our chihuahua but the entrance was way too small for him to go through and the house is so floppy that the roof kept falling down so he was scared to go in. We couldn’t return it since he started biting the roof the first day we got it and tore one corner, so we ended up modifying the house. We cut a bigger door on the taller side, closing up the original hole with the fabric, then we added wood supports to keep the roof from caving in. Now our dog goes inside comfortably.We do like that it’s very well insulated so he stays warm and it is soft inside and I like that the roof is removable with a zipper so giving it 3 stars.

I was very disappointed with this purchase. I needed an outdoor cat house fast before the cold front hit us. I received this and immediately put it together, but there are no support poles that go inside of it so it was not sturdy at all and would Not stand up straight like in the photos. I ordered the bigger size and did not think it would be so small.

We have five strays in our neighborhood, and during the winter it got pretty chilly here, put these things outside, and the cats were inside of them and warm and snuggly. It rained like crazy the Catherine side of them warm and snuggly absolutely amazing.
