You get what you pay for. They do a great job in a sense that they give you even spacing, but oftentimes they would strip out on me. It's almost like the screws are made out of aluminum. Compared to say, Trex brand, they're one heck of a great deal. As a contractor trying to save a bunch of money; good buy. I personally wouldn't use them on my own deck though. I had to replace a descent amount. Also, from time to time the screw head would just break off. Slows things down a good bit.

I highly recommend these clips. I am not an expert but I am a handyman and I used these clips for a deck that I built and they worked great. I read the reviews complaining about the screws and the secret is "Buy the correct bit size for the screws you will be working with. Do not use a full size bit or you will ruin every single screw. I bought a smaller bit and I did not stripped no one screw.

Every screw head stripped out. Plastic spacer seems okay quality but screws are junk. Not worth the time attempting to use them

Every third screw was stripped, when used. I ended up having to buy better screws and replacing all 500 of the screws that were supplied. This is a major problem when you are all set up to start this job. After buying $50.00 in screws the plastic insert worked fine

We had to be super careful when using these. The screw heads being Phillips is way more difficult to install than the trex brand that has the T20 (I think)
