I didn’t realize the product did up over the head. I’m just not a fan of that style of halter… Also the piece on the back side of the nose is the exact same piece as on the sides… It looks like they were missed made and then just sold anyways

It's very stiff. Paid extra for shipping as I was on a short timeframe, however it got held up at customs as it was coming from the US, even though it said Amazon.ca. Not something I would consider purchasing again.

Purchased this halter for my daughters 12.2 pony. Out of the box, the halter is incredibly stiff. I tried it on the pony and the the fit is just completely off. The throat piece on the halter I received was much different than what's shown in the picture. I was afraid the halter would break if I tried to adjust it any. Don't recommend!

I purchased this less than 2 months ago and today my horse slightly balked at getting in the trailer and the lower metal pieces shattered. Under the chin and across the cheek. Mind you, he barely pulled back, didn’t even make my arms yank. Not happy at all and the window for me to return is closed. So, I had to go out and purchase a nylon halter in a pinch and cannot return, exchange or get a refund of this one. Not happy!!The leather quality seemed very nice and I sort of questioned the bucklesFrom the get go. Just be weary of this halter.
