i'm a mobile bike mechanic. these cut-to-length straps are ideal for me when i work singlehandedly on newer bikes especially disc brake ones. the thickness and width guarantee that my components won't flop around either.

My wife hand-makes custom bicycle frame bags. Many are attached to the bike frame using sewn loops with paracord around the tubes. But, some are attached to the bike frame with simple Velcro straps.There's always the possibility that the bags will be stuffed with heavy-weight items. And, when you add to that the constant vibrations experienced when riding, a strong strap connection becomes absolutely vital. Paracord and sewn loops won't give, but weak Velcro could.This Velcro is thin - that's a good thing. The fuzzy side is very soft and won't harm bicycle paint jobs. Most importantly, the grip is very strong. It's easy to cut with scissors, and it won't fray. And, IMHO, when you buy Velcro brand, the company that invented this miracle stuff, you know you're getting quality. I can't say the same for some of the other brands.For an almost endless list of possible uses, this Velcro will do the job for you.

This double sided velcro fills a need for tieing plants to stakes and many other applications.
