I put this retractor on my chest pack with a pair of Streamworks scissor forceps. It works great. Nice color too.

It's okay as a retractor. If I didn't have a Fishpond bag I wouldn't buy it,. Bought it because it matched my bag color. Less expensive retractors out there.

Like all fishpond products this retainer is well thought out, practical and yet amazing to look at. Highly recommended.

I love fishpond products and have been impressed with their products so I feel a little disappointed with these retractors.I bought these because my pack had so many cool spots to mount these. Or so I thought. I bough one for my snips and one for my thermometer and one for forceps and really had to struggle to get them mounted effectively even the mount points on the fishpond pack itself seemed designed for a smaller retractor since they were so close togetherPros.Look coolLightweightSimple-Nothing mechanical to breakConsLong and awkwardNo wire inside just plastic coilNot very extendableLoop seems to be glued together???Even the generic retractor’s plastic coils I have seen have a little steel cable in the middle for extra support I am surprised fishpond didn’t think that was needed and I would not trust this on a high end set of nippers.Spent almost 60$ just to match my pack and I think I could have put that $ to better use.
